Once your item arrives at our US facility, we handle all the paperwork and transportation. We’ll ensure your shipments arrive quickly and safely to one of our branch locations. Don’t forget to bring your order pickup sheet!

BETA PREP will not be accepting FRAGILE ITEMS.
Fragile items include anything that can be easily broken, from glassware to antiques and more. These delicate items can be made of any material, including crystal and ceramic, and need extra attention before shipping.
Gifts and other personal items with no documented value are not allowed.
Please note that BETA PREP will NOT BE ACCEPTING items that are not properly packed(items in paper bags) and items with no valid shipping label. Packages in paper bags that are sent to our US facility will be automatically disposed.
We are fully compliant with CBSA regulations. Misdeclaration / inaccurate item descriptions or values will result in a $300 penalty and permanent suspension of your account, and you may face penalties or more severe consequences from CBSA.

Acceptable Proof for Origin of Imported Goods
Proof of origin will be required upon request to bring back goods that claim to be manufactured in North America (United States, Canada, Mexico). Please see the list below for acceptable forms of proof:
An Exporter’s Statement of Origin
Any other documentation that indicates where the item is manufactured.
Please note that not all items coming from the USA are automatically considered as made in the USA.
All Health and Beauty products must be labelled in accordance with:
The Food and Drugs Act and its Cosmetic Regulations.
To comply with these requirements, cosmetic labels must include:
an ingredient list – using the International Nomenclature for Cosmetic Ingredients (INCI) system;
the identity of the product, in English and French;
the name and address of the manufacturer or importer;
warnings or cautions, if applicable, in English and French; and
directions for safe use of the product, if applicable, in English and French according to federal requirements.

The time between receipt at our US facility until it is ready to be picked up at our Canadian branch is generally 2 to 3 business days.Â
Delays due to unforeseen circumstances, such as (but not limited to) customs delays or severe weather etc. are beyond our control and may impact your delivery time.
It is the customer’s responsibility to know how many packages are being received in Canada and to determine which package belongs to which invoice. Shippsy has no way of knowing how many packages are arriving and is not responsible for determining which invoice they are associated with.
Additional photos can be requested from our US warehouse at an extra cost to help you identify the packages that arrived.
You have two options:
Dispose for a fee of $2.50
Send back to the seller for a fee of $2.50 (handling) + postage cost
BETA PREP’s fee covers our processing/handling and transportation of items from our US location to our Canadian branches. BETA PREP’s fee includes the brokerage and customs clearance.

BETA PREP receives the tax and duties assessed by Canada Customs once the shipments are cleared at the border. We will be charging this to your account, along with the BETA PREP fee once the package arrives at our branch. You can then make the payment and proceed to pick up the package.
It is the tax you have to pay to the Canadian Customs for bringing the item into Canada. There is no tax if the total value of your import is less than $40 CAD. If the total value is over $40 CAD, then there will be a 13% tax on personal imports and 5% on business imports.
It is the duties charged by the Canadian customs on imports into Canada. There is no duty if the total value of your import is less than $150 CAD. If the total value is over $150 CAD, then the duty will be applied. Duties range from 0% to 25% depending on the product category.
